This space had an open, industrial feel—with high ceilings, exposed beams, and exposed roofing—so it was important to find ways to bring in warmth and a sense of comfort. I incorporated custom hanging trellises at varying heights and scales to help define more intimate zones within the large open room. To further ground the space, I selected a statement walnut table as the central focal point and introduced walnut wood elements throughout to create cohesion and add natural warmth.

Yoga Studio

I wanted to create a dark, zen-inspired atmosphere in the studio—something calming, intimate, and mood-driven. To bring that vision to life, I chose soft, warm lighting with hanging basket fixtures to add natural texture and ambiance. I painted the ceiling black to make the space feel cozier and more grounded, while a mirrored wall helps open up the room and reflect light in subtle ways. Minimalist artwork and greenery add a sense of balance and tranquility. To soften the industrial glass walls, I added flowing white curtains that can be opened or closed depending on how the space is being used, offering both flexibility and a peaceful sense of enclosure.

The client wanted a space that felt cozy, grounded, and relaxing—a true retreat. We kept the palette soft and neutral, layering textures like boucle, fringe, and natural fabrics to create warmth and comfort. Ochre-colored pillows add a touch of depth, while the bold blue throw brings in personality without overpowering the calm vibe. The onyx light fixtures on either side of the bed are a standout feature, giving off a soft, warm glow and adding a natural, sculptural element to the room. The result is a boho-inspired bedroom that feels calm, inviting, and uniquely personal.

Jacuzzi Lounge

The goal for this space was to create a relaxing, spa-like oasis for members to unwind. I focused on calming blue and green tones, durable furnishings that require minimal maintenance, and natural textures to keep the space feeling serene yet functional. I also helped shape the overall design through selections like tile and decking for the jacuzzi, as well as furniture, fixtures, and landscaping—incorporating elements like palm trees and river stones to enhance the tranquil atmosphere.

A Balanced Blend of Neutrals and Color

The goal for this space was to create a contemporary living room with eclectic touches and pops of color. A dark gray couch and neutral pillows provide a calm, grounded foundation, while a white dining table paired with boucle chairs adds modern texture and contrast. Bright, colorful modern art and carefully curated decor pieces infuse the space with personality and warmth. Treasured travel finds—like a handcrafted inlay wood tray and coasters from Italy and an incense holder from Japan—add unique, meaningful touches. A cowhide rug brings natural texture that ties the whole room together, resulting in a stylish and inviting space full of character.

Fitness Center

The photo on the left shows the front entry of the fitness center, where I used hanging wall plants and black woven light fixtures to add warmth and texture. The black and brown color scheme mirrors the aesthetic of the yoga studio and fitness center inside, creating a cohesive feel.

Inside the fitness center, I painted the ceiling black for depth and a modern touch, mirrored the walls to open up the space, and chose gray faux wood laminate flooring for a clean, low-maintenance finish. I embraced the bold red and white equipment by designing around it, letting the contrast add personality while still feeling intentional and polished.
